Interesting Facts About Eid and Ramadan

The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated in the holy month of Ramadan. This is a very important festival for Muslims around the world. Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid is the biggest festival of their religion for Muslims. Muslims from all over the world celebrate this festival. This festival is celebrated in the month of Nekha, Ramadan. It is said that the month of Ramadan is the culinary month of the Islamic calendar Hijri calendar. FACT#1. On the last day of the month of Ramadan, when the moon is seen in the sky, Eid is celebrated on its second day.

FACT#3. A Muslim who fasts during Ramadan receives something during Iftar and Sahari. Apart from this, he does not even drink water.

FACT#4. According to the Hijri calendar, Eid comes twice a year. One is Eid-ul-Fitr and the other is called Eid-ul-Juha. Eid-ul-Fitr is also called simply Eid. Apart from this, it is also called “Meethi Eid”. While Eid-ul-Juha is also known as Bakrid.

FACT#9. Eid ul Fitr is celebrated on the first day of the tenth month of the Hijri calendar and in this calendar, the new month begins only after seeing the moon. Eid is also celebrated as the beginning of the new month after Ramadan called Shawwal. Ramadan is not over until the moon is seen and Shawwal cannot begin. By the way, it is also related to a historical event. It is said that on this day Hazrat Muhammad traveled from the city of Mecca to Medina.

FACT#10. Eid is a festival of moderation and peace, but there are some rules which are required to be followed on this day. For example, the day of Eid begins by getting up early in the morning and offering fajr prayers. Then cleaning yourself like “Gusl” and “Mismatch”. After this, it is best to wear clean clothes then put perfume on them and eat something and go to Eidgah. It is also necessary to pray before Namaz. Eid prayers are performed in the open. The most important thing is that different routes are used for coming and going to Eidgah.

FACT#11. There is a tradition of wearing new clothes on the occasion of Eid. Although this is not true, clean clothes are not new on Eid. Clean ones are also the cleanest, so there is no compulsion to wear new clothes. There is also a tradition of applying perfume on clothes, but this is also not necessary.
