After this, it is best to wear clean clothes then put perfume on them and eat something and go to Eidgah. It is also necessary to pray before Namaz. Eid prayers are performed in the open. The most important thing is that different routes are used for coming and going to Eidgah.
FACT#11. There is a tradition of wearing new clothes on the occasion of Eid. Although this is not true, clean clothes are not new on Eid. Clean ones are also the cleanest, so there is no compulsion to wear new clothes. There is also a tradition of applying perfume on clothes, but this is also not necessary.
