Fact#1. Pranab Mukherjee, the 13th President of the country. He was born on December 11, 1935, in a village in the Birbhum district of West Bengal.
Fact#2. He was an Additional Division Clerk in Calcutta’s Post and Telegraph Office. Later became an Assistant Professor of Political Science. Before entering politics, he also did journalism for a Bengali magazine named ‘Desher Dak’ (call of the motherland).
